[Spain, Portugal Specific] EOM time zone (islands)

Use Mainland Market Time for End-of-Month Order Processing

All end-of-month (EOM) orders must be placed according to the official time zone of the ABO's market, regardless of the ABO's local island time zone.

Important: Orders placed after the local 23:00 deadline in the Azores or Canary Islands may miss the end-of-month processing cut-off for Portugal or Spain, respectively.

  • All Spanish ABOs must follow Mainland Spain time (Central European Time - CET) for end-of-month order processing.

Place End-of-Month Orders from the Canary Islands

The Canary Islands time zone is one hour behind Mainland Spain.

    As a result:

    • ABOs located in the Canary Islands must place their end-of-month orders before 23:00 local Canary Islands time.
    • This ensures the order is submitted before the midnight cut-off time in Mainland Spain.
  • All Portuguese ABOs must follow Mainland Portugal time (Western European Time - WET) for end-of-month order processing.

Place End-of-Month Orders from the Azores

The Azores Time Zone (AZOT) is one hour behind Mainland Portugal.

    As a result:

    • ABOs located in the Azores must place their end-of-month orders before 23:00 AZOT.
    • This ensures the order is submitted before the midnight cut-off time in Mainland Portugal.
