Understand Bonus Eligibility

Amway Business Owners (ABOs) in Portugal can sponsor others and receive bonuses regardless of whether they have a registered Business Activity.

• ABOs are not required to notify Amway when they register a business activity.
• The ability to receive certain bonus types depends on whether a Business Activity is registered with the Portuguese Finance Ministry.

Understand the Difference Between Having a Business Activity and Not Having One

ABOs with a Registered Business Activity

ABOs who have declared a Business Activity with the Portuguese Finance Ministry can receive:

• Personal bonuses
• Leadership bonuses
• All other eligible Sales & Marketing Plan bonuses

ABOs without a Registered Business Activity

ABOs who have not declared a Business Activity can receive:

• Personal bonuses only

All other eligible bonuses will be retained in escrow and can be released only when:

• A valid Ato Isolado is submitted, or
• A Business Activity is registered with the Portuguese Finance Ministry.

Register a Business Activity to Receive Full Bonus Payments

Amway activities are considered a Business Activity. Therefore, Sales & Marketing Plan bonuses can be paid in full only when a Business Activity has been declared with the Portuguese Finance Ministry.

Add a Legal Entity to an Account

A specific form is available for adding a Legal Entity (LE) in Portugal.

The last page of the form contains the Pagos y Bonos Form, which can be used to register the Legal Entity's bank account details.

Provide Bank Account Documentation

When submitting the Pagos y Bonos Form:

• The form must be accompanied by proof of bank account ownership.
• The IBAN must be registered in the name of the company.
• Supporting documentation must confirm that the company is the account holder.

Prepare Additional Documentation if Requested

Amway reserves the right to request additional documentation whenever it is deemed necessary to validate the Legal Entity registration or related payment information.
