How to Read Expiration Dates on Amway Products

1. Expiration Dates on Most Products

For the majority of Amway products, the expiration date is printed near the acronym “EXP.” This date is typically located either on the bottom of the package or near the barcode.

2. Expiration Information on Personal Care, Skincare, and Makeup Products

Personal care, skincare, and makeup products often do not display a fixed calendar expiration date. Instead, they indicate shelf life using the PAO (Period After Opening) symbol.

The PAO symbol appears as an open jar icon followed by a number and the letter “M.” This represents the number of months the product is safe to use after opening.

Examples include:

  • 6M – Use within six months after opening
  • 12M – Use within twelve months after opening

Always refer to this symbol to determine how long a product remains suitable for use once opened.
